Emilio Accetturo

Emilio Accetturo, 91, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Morgan Health Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (DiOrio) Accetturo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Emilio Accetturo, Sr. and Michalena (Bova) Accetturo.
Emilio was a painter with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 195 and was an Army Air corps Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed watching sports.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael and Pasquale Accetturo and Josephine Cunetta.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
