Mrs. Elvira T. Myers

Myers, Elvira T., (DiMaio) 87, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 6, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of John Myers. They were happily married for 59 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Immaculata (Balzifiore).
Mrs. Myers was employed as a Fine Jeweler for many years before her retirement. She loved bingo & going to Lincoln Park. She was one of the original avid RI Reds Hockey Fan and a member of Girls City Club and the USO.
Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Ann Roberto, Debra Ray and her husband Kevin, Paul Myers and his wife Isabel, John Myers and Sue, Lisa Myers and Gary Myers and his wife Elizabeth. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Emily, Dave, Ian, Nicholas, Erika, Amanda, Nicole, Paige, Noelle, Matthew, Payton and Frank.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence, RI 02903.
