Elvira "Vera" Cambio

ELVIRA “VERA” (IZZO) CAMBIO, 98, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Domenic Cambio and daughter of the late Andrea and Fiorenza (Ranucci) Izzo.

Vera had a love for her family, especially her great granddaughters, Gianna and Bianca who were the love of her life. She enjoyed bingo and making her delicious egg biscuits. She also enjoyed making baby blankets for anyone she knew was having a baby.

She leaves her daughter, Rose Marie Capalbo and her husband Giuseppe; and two sons, Domenic Cambio, Jr. and Albert Cambio. She also leaves her most cherished granddaughters, Cynthia DiFalco and her finacé Stephen Corsi and Susan Conti and her husband Joseph. Last but not least her great granddaughters, Gianna and Bianca. She was the sister of Albert Izzo and Andrew Izzo and the late Peter, Roy, Frank, Thomas, William and Americo Izzo.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Internment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION TUESDAY 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vera’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hosptial, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
