ELIZABETH E. DER, 98, who lived in North Providence most of her life, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006, at her home. She was the wife of the late George L. Der. Born in North Adams, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Malvina
Pistachio.
Elizabeth had worked as a LPN at the former Lying In Hospital of Providence for over 20 years. She leaves a daughter, Florence F. McAlister; a son, Everett A. Ferri, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was the mother of the late Arthur R. Ferri, Jr. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Funeral and burial will be private.
