Elena Germana Carpenter

Elena Germana Carpenter (Del Sesto), 95, of Warwick, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Gaetano Germana and the late Edward Carpenter. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Orsella (LaFazia) DelSesto.

Elena was an assembler at the General Electric Base Works in Providence until her retirement.
She leaves her devoted daughter, Anna Pellegrino; her loving son, Vincent Germana and his wife, Corrine; her brother, Christopher DelSesto; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Marion Corvese and Phyllis Accetta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St Francis of Assisi Church, Warwick. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, RI 02886.
