ELEANOR L. PILOSA (PALUMBO) , 88, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2006 at Haven Health Center in Greenville. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Pilosa, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Theresa (Nacca) Palumbo.
Eleanor was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves a son, Joseph Pilosa, Jr. and his wife Elissa; a daughter, Deborah Blanchard; four grandchildren, Julie and Carly Blanchard, Marc and Jason Pilosa and a great grandson, Marc Pilosa. She was the sister of the late Dr. Joseph Palumbo, William Palumbo and Alba Palumbo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 9am in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Visiting hours respectively omitted. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Maceroni Funeral Home.
