Elaine L. Petrocchi

Elaine L. Petrocchi (Troiano), 72 of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Petrocchi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis “Jake” and Lena (Paone) Troiano and the sister of the late Louis Troiano.

Elaine worked at GTech, East Greenwich, for ten years and was currently employed as a receptionist at Cushman & Wakefield, Davol Square, Providence. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston.

She was the devoted and loving mother of Darin Petrocchi of Johnston and Jamie Williams of Cranston, and beloved grandmother of two cherished grandchildren, Lia and Nicolas Williams of Cranston.

Elaine knew she was blessed with a great family and leaves behind many cousins and wonderful friends. She will not and cannot be forgotten, as she was one of a kind and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Her life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in OUR LADY OF GRACE CHURCH, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston. VISITATION FRIDAY 5-8 P.M. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1210 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920 and will be greatly appreciated.
