Edward T. Vasconcelllos, Jr.

Edward T. Vasconcellos, Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Tudino) Vasconcellos and father of the late Lisa Vasconcellos.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Edward T. and Maria (Dermundo) Vasconcellos.
Mr. Vasconcellos was a Cartographer for the Army Map Service for many years before his retirement. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by a son, Michael Vasconcellos; 3 grandchildren, Valerie, Miguel and Cotey and a great-grandson. He was the brother of the late Maria Minicozzi.
Visiting hours will be held Monday (MORNING), October 5, 2015 from 8:00am to 9:15am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
