Edward S. Troiano, Sr., 84, of Warwick, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Maria (Cifelli) Troiano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Maria (Mancini) Troiano.
Edward was co-owner of his family’s business, Post Road Service Center, in Warwick. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his children, Edward S. Troiano, Jr. and Donna Resmini and grandchildren, Bianca L., Joshua W. and Jordan A. Resmini and Edward S. Troiano, III. He was the brother of the late Michael Troiano.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a. m. in St Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Visitation Sunday, 4- 6 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
