Edith Bucci (Palombo), 89, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio “Butch” Bucci. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Angelina (DiStefano) Palombo.
Edith had worked for Trifari Jewelry. She leaves her daughter, Gail Richardson; two brothers, John and Albert Palombo; three sisters, Florence Silva, Margaret Christopher and Mary Falchini and two grandchildren, Kelly and Kyle Richardson. She was the sister of the late Nicola, Angelo and Americo Palombo.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church. George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Visitation Sunday 2-5 p.m.
