Donald A. Proulx, Sr.

Donald A. Proulx, Sr., 71, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ida (Singleton) Proulx. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elsie (Kline) Proulx.
Donald worked for Gorham Manufacturing for 35 years. He was a NASCAR fan and loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his children, Donald A. Proux, Jr., Raymond Proux, Charline Rosario, Lisa Proulx and Paula Bergin; his brothers, Louis, Peter, Raymond, William and Richard Proulx; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation Friday, July 20, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. His funeral and burial will be private.
