Domenico G. Tacelli, 74, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Guido and Michelina (Danelli) Tacelli.
Domenico was the owner and operator of Chrismarr Polishing and was formerly a Providence Police Officer.
He leaves three sons, David G. Tacelli, Christopher W. Tacelli and Mark P. Tacelli; a brother, Peter Tacelli; two sisters, Dolores DiOrio and Janet Florio and six grandchildren. He was the father of the late Michael D. Tacelli.
Visitation Thursday morning from 8-9 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 222 Richmond St., Suite 204, Providence, RI 02903.
