CORRINE AMITRANO, 70, of Providence, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23, 2014 at Cherry Hill Manor. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Concetta (Roberti) Amitrano.
Corrine was employed by Cal’s Jewelry for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Corrine was an avid bowler, card player and liked to visit the casinos to try her luck.
She leaves her loving sister, Anna Antonelli and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Vincent and Louis Amitrano, Carol Verduchi, Grace Morretti and Mary Guertin.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visitation Wednesday 5-7 p.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
