Concetta Ripa Susi

Concetta Ripa Susi, 85, of Fruit Hill Ave., passed away Sunday, February 26, 2006, at Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Frank D. Susi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Jennie (Santopietro) Ripa. She had previously lived in North Providence.

Concetta was employed in the Rhode Island Jewelry Industry for over 35 years, most recently for Childs Manufacturing of North Providence where she was chief buyer and also worked in production control for the firm until retiring at age 60. She was a Communicant of St. Thomas Church.

She leaves a daughter, Tina M. Rosa; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Rosa and Jonathan David Rosa; a son-in law, David A. Rosa and an older brother, Eugene Ripa, Sr.. She was the sister of the late Mary (Ripa) Pricolo, Augustine Ripa, Sr., and Adele Ripa.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. VISITATION Wednesday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Home & Hospice Care of R.I., 169 George St., Pawtucket, R.I. 02860.
