Concetta "Connie" Panciocco

Concetta “Connie" Panciocco, 84, of Providence, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Peter Panciocco. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Carmella (Rocchio) DiGiacinto.

Connie was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her kindness, generosity, humor and smart wit will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert Panciocco and fiancé, Rachel of West Warwick, Richard and his wife, Nancy and Peter and his wife, AnneMarie, both of Johnston. She treasured her six grandchildren, Nicole, Cheryl, Alyssa, Richard, Michael and Maria.

Her funeral will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Fruit Hill Day Services for the Elderly, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
