Clare Iarocci

Clare Iarocci (Nero), 87, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Iarocci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Henrietta (Petorella) Nero.

Besides her husband of 63 years, she leaves a son, Anthony Iarocci and his wife, Michelle; three daughters, Linda Tierney and her husband Raymond, Gail Squillante and her husband, Jerome and Karen Gutieress and her husband, Edward; two brothers, Peter Nero and William “Billy” Nero; a sister, Arlene Tomassi; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John, Joseph and Anthony Nero and Mary Oberg.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
