Clara Andreozzi (Grande), 90, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Morgan Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Sossio “Champ” Andreozzi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Anna (Corucco) Grande and the mother of the late Richard Andreozzi and Anna B. Boyd.
Clara was a waitress at the former Welcome Restaurant in Providence.
She leaves a brother, George Grande, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Pasquale, Tony and Louis Grande and Angelina Marcoccio.
Visitation at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon with a Funeral Service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of RI, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
