Claire M. Del Guidice

CLAIRE M. DEL GUIDICE, 87, of Providence, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Elmhurst Extended Care. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Diamantina "Dina” Del Giudice. She lived in Providence most of her life and moved to North Providence in 2002.

Claire was a Food Service Supervisor at the VA Medical Center in Providence for 33 years, retiring in 1997.

She leaves two daughters, Joyce A. Renzi and Janice M. Parrillo; two sisters, Lucy Russo and Gloria Sousa; four grandchildren, Robert Renzi, Jr., Steven Renzi, Stacy Renzi and Danielle Parrillo, and three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Angelo Del Giudice, Fernando “Sonny” Del Giudice, Angie Cardarelli, Helen Macari, Marian Volitile, Evelyn Renzi and Josephine Colapietro.

Visitation Wednesday Morning, July 17, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will be in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Elmhurst Extended Care, 50 Maude St., Providence, RI, 02908.
