CIRO J. LOTITO, SR. “CY”, 83, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006 . He was the beloved companion of Elsie Masterson.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Sylvester) Lotito. He was the brother of Frances Nardi and the late Cena and Joseph Lotito. He also leaves two sons, Ciro Jr. and Dennis Lotito; a daughter Cynthia Bucci; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

As a member of the United States Marine Corp, Cy proudly served his country during World war II. He was a member and a Past President of the Providence Federal Hill Lions Club. For 26 years he was employed by Valueland Food Stores as Produce Manager.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 10am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Michael Church, Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visitation on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to R.I. Lions Children’s Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 2384, Pawtucket, R.I. 02861.
