CELIA MONJEAU (DeBIASE), 85, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Monjeau. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Concetta (Imondi) DeBiase. She moved to North Providence in 1966. She had worked as a salesperson for the former Enterprise Department Store for several years.

Celia was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother. She leaves her daughter Jo-Anne Dettmann of Illinois, with whom she had been living; a brother , Michael A. DeBiase of California and a granddaughter, Erin Dettmann. She was the sister of the late John DeBiase.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
