Catherine Katt Rowell

Catherine Katt Rowell, 96, passed away, Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Hogan) McCarthy.
In her early career she was a professional dancer with The Corbett Review and the George White Troop. She traveled to Canada and throughout the United States where appeared on stage in shows that included, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. Kate was an active volunteer for the Miss Rhode Island Pageant.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Katt of Minneapolis, Minnesota and three grandchildren, Kimberly, Susan and Cathy. She was the mother of the late Robert Katt.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
