Catherine M. Fratelli

Catherine M. Fratelli “Katie”, age 100 years and 6 months, of Smithfield, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was the wife of the late Rocco Fratelli, mother of the late Janet (Fratelli) Sclama-Goodison and daughter of the late Teoteste and Guglielmo Carlotti.

Catherine graduated from Commercial High School in Providence, class of 1933 and worked as a medical stenographer for the Rhode Island Department of Health until her retirement in 1975. After retiring she enjoyed cooking, baking and family gatherings.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Fratelli and his wife Paula and William Fratelli; eight grandchildren, Stacy, Audrey, Billy, Melissa and Steven Fratelli, Robert and David Sclama and Christopher Goodison and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lillian Savastano, Clara Maggiacomo, Mary Connelly, Edward Carlotti and Gloria Bucci.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday (MORNING) June 4, 2015 from 9 am to 10:15 am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.
