Carol T. Restivo

Carol T. Restivo (Hickey), 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Home & Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Restivo. Born in Uxbridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late James and Gladys (Richardson) Hickey.

Mrs. Restivo was employed at Luca Music, North Providence, for many years before her retirement. She was the first PTA President of the former Woodward Road Elementary School and a Trustee for the Sal Mancini Lodge Sons
of Italy.

She is survived by her loving children, Linda Newman and husband Robert of Cranston, Alan Restivo and his wife Beverly of North Kingstown, Sharon McDonald of Rochester, MA, and Dianne Cerce and her husband Patrick of Canton, MA. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Julie Murphy and her husband Daniel, David Restivo and his wife Mary, Jeremy McDonald, Matthew Cerce and his wife Elizabeth and Genna Cerce and her fiancé Christopher Murphy; and two dear great-grandchildren, Ayla and Miles Murphy. She was the devoted sister of the late Colleen Aldrich and loving mother in-law of the late Martin McDonald.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 29th at 10 am from the MACERONI Funeral Home , 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 28th from 4 pm - 7 pm.
