CARMIN ALESSANDRO, 86, of North Providence, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma (DeCubellis) Alessandro. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Sebastiano and Josephine Alessandro. He was a Navy Veteran of World war II. He worked as a baker, a buyer for Fernandes Supermarkets and a salesman for JAMCO products.
He is survived by his sister, Sally Velleco and his stepsons, Ronald and Kenneth DeCubellis; sister in law, Mary Alessandro and nieces and nephews, Beverly Goldschmidt and her husband, Raymond, Denise Velleco, David Alessandro, Barbara Alessandro, Deborah Riccio, Tina Chofay and Keith Burke as well as his great nieces and nephews, Todd Goldschmidt, Scott and Lori Goldschmidt, Samara Velleco, Shawna and Jay Champagne, Christopher and Michelle Alessandro. He was predeceased by his siblings, Domenic, Frank, Anthony and Rose Alessandro, Mary Burke and his nephew, Dennis Alessandro.
His funeral and visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
