Carmela Morgan

October 4, 1921 — February 25, 2012

Carmela Morgan (Gelsomino), 90, of Warwick, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at West Shore Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late William Morgan. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Jennie (DiSarro) Gelsomino.

She had been employed by Tri Jay Electroplating and previously worked for Calabro Manufacturing.

Carmella was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves her son, Walter Morgan and his wife, Nancy; six brothers, Carmino, Raymond, John, Domenic, Albert and James Gelsomino; two sisters, Theresa and Marie Gelsomino; two grandchildren, Melissa Topp and William Morgan and a great grandson, Seth. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Antonio Gelsomino, Conchetta Calise, Anna Martinelli and Barbara Forte.

Visitation Wednesday morning, February 29, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 9;30 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Heart Association, One State Street, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02908.
