Blandine “Shirley” Mazzei (Sweeney), 76, of Providence, passed away Monday, June 25, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario Mazzei. Born in Canada, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Imelda (Joseph) Sweeney. She had worked in the Jewelry Industry in Rhode Island.
She leaves her devoted son, Peter J. Mazzei of Providence, retired P.P.D and seven brothers and six sisters residing in Canada.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. VISITATION Sunday 4-7pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
