BLANCHE J. CINQUEGRANA, 90, of North Providence, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Giovannina (DiSpirito) Cinquegrana.
As a young woman, Blanche and her family owned and operated the Trojan Ice Cream Co. She was later employed by The Outlet Company as manager of the famous fountain/restaurant.
Although Blanche did not have children of her own, she was a beloved and cherished mother like figure to many nieces and nephews. Family times were very special to her.
She enjoyed tennis, bowling and bocce and was renowned for making pepper and wine biscuits every week well into her 80's.
She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to love her and shared her life.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, November 29, 2016 from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Please Omit Flowers.
