Bennie Pazienza, 86, of Providence, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Elmhurst Extended Care. He was the beloved husband of Angelina (Yacovelli) Pazienza. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gilda Pazienza.
A professional Musician, Bennie played in the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, Frankie Carle and Victor Lombardi Bands and at Warwick Musical Theater. He was a member of the New York Musicians Union.
Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves a son, Joseph Pazienza. He was the brother of the late Joseph Pazienza, Jr.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
