Benedetto B. "Uncle Bennie" Messore

Benedetto B. “Uncle Bennie” Messore, 82, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Benedetto B. Messore, Sr. and Letizia (Amore) Messore.

Mr. Messore worked for the Providence School Department before retiring in 1989. He then moved to Florida and worked for the Florida School Department until 2000. He returned to Rhode Island in 2013. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving sister-in-law, Theresa Messore and his cherished niece and nephew, Linda DiLibero and John Messore. He was also the treasured uncle of many other nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John, Carmino, Anthony and Edmundo Messore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service with Military Honors on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
