Barbara Marzilli

BARBARA (DelGRECO) MARZILLI, 96, formerly of Providence, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alexander Marzilli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe DelGreco and Maria Grazia (Rizza) DelGreco.

Mrs. Marzilli had worked for AT Cross before retiring.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Robert A. Marzilli; a daughter, Joyce B. Querceto and her husband Norman; three grandchildren, Jennifer Querceto, Jill Querceto and Marissa Marzilli-Daly and five great-grandchildren, James McInnis, Mia, Madelynn, Mackenzie and Molly Daly. She was the mother-in-law of the late Linda Beaumier-Marzilli and the sister of the late Antonio and John DelGreco, Carmella Soave, Philomena Marzilli and Antonetta DiGiacomo.

Her funeral will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Visitation Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
