Barbara M. DeCurtis, 71, of Providence, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Sergio DeCurtis. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Antonetta (Spaziano) Palmieri.
Barbara was a receptionist in the office of Dr. Karen Mega.
She is survived by her loving children, Lisa M. Spirito and her husband Robert and Sergio A. DeCurtis and also her devoted grandchildren, Sophia E. DeCurtis and Olivia N. DeCurtis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Donations in her memory may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, One State Street, Suite 100, Providence, RI 02908.
