BARBARA D. Petrucci ( CORSI ), 64, of Johnston, passed away Friday, September 29, 2006 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of Edward Petrucci. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Mary (Silva) Corsi.
Barbara was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet and knit. She also loved to bowl Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Edward and Michael Petrucci and Raymond Hammond; two daughters, Carla Tartaglia and Brenda Rooney; a brother, Americo Corsi, Jr.; a sister Louise T. Ryan; eight grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Frank Corsi.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. VISITATION Monday 5-8pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Diabetes Foundation of RI 1117 Douglas Ave. Unit 2, North Providence, R.I. 02904.
