ARMANDO STARNINO, 84, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Marie (Frageorgia) DeNinno and the former husband of Joanne (Tirocchi) Starnino. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Filomena (D’Ambra) Starnino.
Armando was the owner and operator of Starnino Trucking and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a talented artist, producing sculptures, paintings, sketches and wood carvings.
He also leaves a son, Joseph Starnino; three daughters, Sandra Lonardo and her husband, Anthony, Lisa Mallinson and Jodi Gaynor and her husband, Ronald.; eight grandchildren, Stacey King, Liza-Rose Starnino, Peter Falcone, Jesse Starnino, Jared Starnino, Ronnie Gaynor, Michael Mallinson and Rachel Gaynor and six great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Julio “BoBo” Starnino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St. Providence....
