ARMANDO RICCI, 76, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at Hopkins Manor. He was the husband of Velia (Calcagni) Ricci. Born in Sulmona, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Ricci) Ricci.
Armando was the founder and former owner and operator of Armando Ricci & Sons until his retirement in 1989. He was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather. Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves two sons, Anthony R. Ricci, MD and his wife Patricia Ricci, MD, and Ronald Ricci and his wife Giovina; a brother, Marco Ricci and five grandchildren, Marcus, Felicia, Tessa, Ariana and Alyssa Ricci. He was the brother of the late Guido Ricci.
VISITATION Friday 5-8pm at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. The funeral will be private.
