Antonio “Bill” DeSimone, 86, who lived most of his life in Providence until moving to North Kingstown, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at South Bay Manor. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna C. (Pieranunzi) DeSimone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovanna (D’Alessandro ) DeSimone.
Bill had been employed by Providence Body for may years.
He is survived by a son, Anthony W. DeSimone and his wife Susan of Mansfield, MA; a daughter, Ann R. McCrory and her husband Glenn of North Kingstown; two brothers, Raymond and Vincent DeSimone ; six grandchildren, Glenn and Jenna McCrory, Andrew, Alex, Marissa and Eric DeSimone and a great grandson, Glenn Peter. He was the brother of the late Benito DeSimone and Marie Ashley.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m., from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament
Church, Academy Ave., Providence. VISITATION Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
