Antimo Broccoli, 81, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Italia (De Santis) Broccoli. Born in Marzano Appio, Italy, he emigrated to the United States with his family in 1966. He was the son of the late Gioacchino and Maria (Paolino) Broccoli.
Antimo was a cabinet maker for the former L. Vaughn Company. He loved opera, gardening and his pets.
Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a son Jack Broccoli and his wife Lori; a daughter Maria Mansella and her husband John; a brother Arnold Broccoli; three sisters, Mariana Ursillo, Rita Di Nuoscio and Lucretia Procaccini and five grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Louis Broccoli.
Visitation Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012 from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Johnston.
