Anthony Rainone

Anhony Rainone, 89, of North Providence, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Elmhurst Extended Care. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Mangiante) Rainone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Costanzo and Maria (DeRosa) Rainone.
Anthony was a Revenue Officer with the RI Department of Employment Security for 20 years until retiring in 1983. He graduated from RI State College in 1950 and was employed as an Assistant Golf Pro at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, MA. He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He leaves many nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Domenic, Michael and Carlo Rainone and Concetta Ricci.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Ave., Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
