COLETTA, ANTHONY J., 83, of Providence, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the VA Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Providence, he was the son of the late Bernardo and Antonetta (Iasa) Coletta.
Anthony had worked as a machine operator for Seal’ol Inc. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
He leaves a son, Mark S. Coletta and his wife Lynn; a brother, Rocco Coletta and his wife Virginia; a sister Olga Pezza; three granddaughters, Meghan, Devon and Emily Coletta and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Vincent Coletta and Lena Maselli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass, Wednesday at 10am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of R.I., 245 Waterman St., Providence, R.I. 02906.
