Anthony F. Giardino, 46, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Sheila (Clarkin) Giardino.
Anthony was an Account Technician for Verizon. He was a 1984 graduate of LaSalle Academy and attended Rhode Island College. He was an avid Boston sports fan.
He leaves two brothers, David M. Giardino and Timothy J. Giardino and a sister, Julie Doire; three uncles, Len Clarkin, Nicholas Giardino and Robert Giardino and his aunt, Phyllis Novak O’Conor.
His funeral will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. maceroni.com
