Anna Maria Carchia (Giorgi), 85, of Providence, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni R. Carchia, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Eleuterio and Rocca (Gemma) Giorgi.
She leaves six sons, Louis Carchia, John R. Carchia, Jr., Anthony, Joseph, Thomas and Michael Carchia; two daughters, Rita Lepore and Vivian Carchia; five grandchildren, Joseph and John Lepore and Domenic, Christopher and Katherine Carchia; a brother, Louis Giorgi and two sisters, Susie Lombardi and Lucy Del Bonis. She was the sister of the late Bernardo, Anthony, Guido, Larry and Assunta Giorgi and Felicita Lamantia.
Visitation Monday morning 9:15 to 10:15am, in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
