Anna A. Tutalo

ANNA A TUTALO. (MARZILLI), 86, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 23, 2014. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Tutalo and mother of the late Michael J. Tutalo. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Gelsomina (Palmisciano) Marzilli.

Anna was a 1945 graduate of St. Xavier Academy. She had worked at Holy Ghost Church as secretary for many years before retiring. She was happiest in her role as wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Anthony and Frank Tutalo; her beloved daughter, Marie Louth and her husband, Stephen; four adored grandchildren, Christina, Christopher, Toni and Andrew Louth; caring nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Patches and Calico. She was the sister of the late Louis Marzilli, Nancy Parenti, Rev. Raphael Marzilli and George Marzilli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will be private. VISITATION MONDAY 5-7 P.M. at MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence, RI 02909.
