Anna Santropadre (Caprio), 92, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Santopadre. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanale and Caterina (Fusco) Caprio.
Mrs. Santopadre had worked in the jewelry industry before retiring.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Salvatore, Frank, Anthony, Albert and Michael Caprio, Mary Lombardi, Carmella Girelli and Rae Pierpaoli.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
