Anna M. Colannino

Anna M. Colannino (Vito), 94, passed away quietly after a short illness on Friday, January 18, 2013. She was the wife of the late Albert C. Colannino. Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Saturnino and Josephine (DeFucci) Vito.

Anna worked at Cal-Art as an assembler. She also worked as a TV Hostess at Miriam Hospital for 30 years. She leaves a daughter, Elaine M. Economou and her husband, Charles; a son Albert C. Colannino, Jr. and his wife, Connie; four grandchildren, Mark Economou and his wife Bridget, Leanne Economou Bucacci and her husband, Tom, Laura Colannino and Ashley Colannino and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond Vito, Alfred Vito, Dora Nicastro and Pia Rossi.

Visitation Friday morning, January 25, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Tomorrow Fund, RI Hospital Campus, 393 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903. maceroni.com
