Ann Pellegrini (Algeni), 88, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Antonio Pellegrini. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Filomena (Damiano) Algeni.
Ann was a waitress for the Biltmore Hotel and the Red Coach Grill for many years.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Anthony Pellegrini and his wife Lee; a brother, Albert Algeni; two sisters, Mary Montanaro and Barbara Rotondo; three grandchildren, Bethany Gardiner, Adam Pellegrini and Anna Hoyme, and a great-grandson Ethan Hunter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
