Anita Buckley (DiJoseph), 87, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Henry W. Buckley. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Abramo and Antonetta (Vedechia) DiGuiseppe.
Anita had worked for Goodyear Footwear. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband of 53 years, she leaves a daughter, Jeanne M. Bolduc-Charon; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Bolduc) Carlone and Christina Bolduc and a sister, Evelyn Pezzi. She was the sister of the late John DiJoseph, Albert DeJoseph and Rose Mignanelli.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St Peter Church, Warwick. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Tomorrow Fund, c/o RI Hospital, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903.
