Angelina Paolino, (Contillo), 104, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Nicola Paolino. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Geltrude (DiNunzio) Contillo.
She is survived by two daughters, Jean Iannucci and Claire Cook; two sisters, Elena Monti and Evelyn Gearin, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Richard Paolino and the sister of the late Michael, Philip, Salvatore and Dr. Raymond Contillo and Madeline Colarusso.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Visitation Monday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
