Angelina Palmisciano (Forte), 96, of North Providence, passed away peacefully Friday, January 8, 2010 surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Rosinto “Roy” Palmisciano. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Maria (DiFonzo) Forte.
A devoted mother, she is survived by her son, Louis Palmisciano and her daughter, Marie Marinosci. She was a cherished Nonnie to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jodie and Jill Marinosci, Michael and Nico Palmisciano, Orlando Berdecia Jr., Tyree and Isabella Berdecia and she was the sister of the late Anthony, Joseph, Michael and Frank Forte, Santina Simonelli and Rose Forte.
Mrs. Palmisciano had worked for Uncas Manufacturing before retiring.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. VISITATION Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., North Providence, RI 02911.
