Alfred DiLibero, Sr., 87, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Delray Beach, FL. He was born in Providence to Italian-born Antonio and Marianna (Palomba) DiLibero as 1 of 7 children. He shared 63 loving years of marriage with and is survived by Alice (Coutu) DiLibero.
Loving father of Diane Fugere, Michael DiLibero, Alfred DiLibero Jr., and Donna Broccoli. Grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 2. Following his service in the U.S. Army, Alfred was a long time meat manager for Stop & Shop. To many, he was a humble, generous, loving friend and devoted family man.
His funeral will be held Sat, May 23rd, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held Fri from 5-8 p.m.
