Alexander J. Sauriol

SAURIOL, ALEXANDER, J, JR., 71, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Marie C. (Gibalerio) Sauriol for 49 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alexander J. and Beatrice (Plante) Sauriol.
A graduate of LaSalle Academy, Alexander was an expediter for Crystaline of North America. Previously, he had been a service manager for the former Royal Typewriter Company for over 30 years. He was a long-time communicant of St. Lawrence Church and a truly dedicated family man.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Donna Marie Raheb and her husband Joseph Raheb, Esq.; a son, Rev. Mark A. Sauriol and four grandchildren, Alexander, Jenna, Samuel and Adrienne Raheb. He was the brother of the late Robert J. Sauriol.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Park St., Pawtucket. VISITATION Thursday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
