Albert Turchetti, Sr.

Albert T. Turchetti, Sr., 95, of Providence , passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Heatherwood Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of the late Jennie “Jean” G. (Ferranti) Turchetti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Crescenzo and Josephine (Gautieri) Turchetti.

Albert was a self employed jewelry worker and enjoyed Gardening. A devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather, he leaves his son, Albert T. Turchetti, Jr; his daughter, Jennie Calise and her husband, Paul; nine grandchildren, Joseph Calise, Albert Calise, Beatrice Luongo, Paul Calise, Jr., Peter Turchetti, David Turchetti, Albert Turchetti III, Christopher Turchetti and Michael Turchetti; ten great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Americo, John and Frank Turchetti, Mary Siravo, Helen Caputo and Cora Bishop.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence. Visitation Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
